A fight ensures until he overcomes his foe to find that he too has woken there in the same circumstances. They discuss the situation and set off to find the answers in scene 2! Everything has been going wrong for our hero, but now he gets to relax - and decides to take a hot bath. But as he soaks the femme fatale arrives, climbs the stairs and enters the bathroom. Above all, our hero must not be late for his girlfriend's father's birthday party. So he start by playing Sunday League football and gets tied to the goalposts (track 1 - Carnival Drums). Having arrived late he finds his girlfriend's mum is an ex lover (track 2 - Femme Fatal). Having accidentally knocked the Femme Fatal unconscious he drags her outside and is discovered by girlfriend and her father in the process of administering mouth-to-mouth to their stepmother/wife. He is then promptly shot with the gun his girlfriend's father has just been given as a birthday present (Track 3 - 'Tango'). Scored for orchestra, carnival drums and tango ensemble.

Our 'hero' is a player. He has a girlfriend at home and another at work. All is going well until he is forced to make dates with both on the same night. Still all is not lost as he manages to schedule them for different times.Unfortunately, they both use the same hairdresser and a last minute change of plans means he has to go there too - which leads to a rather uncomfortable impromptu introduction. Scored for jazz ensemble and band with double bass representing 'the player', flute the home girlfriend, sax the work girlfriend and trumpet a girl he tries to pick up in the meantime! Mmmm, Jazz - nice!

Final scene of the film where 'the player' heads toward the salon where both his girlfriend and mistress are sitting being primped. Extended cut intercuts between salon and player as he journeys toward his come-uppance! Double bass & drums with a little jazz improv, mmmmm, nice!

This cue could be considered comedy - with an ethnic flavour. Despite warnings that he should not risk being late for his father's birthday party by going to football - our hero pays no attention. He is made substitute as his girlfriend has hidden his strip and spends most of the match giving 'verbals' to the referee. Unfortunately, when a linesman is stretchered off due to an off-the-ball head-but incident with a gorilla from the opposing team; our hero has to act as replacement. All is going well until the gorilla scores via a hand-ball and our hero has to allow the goal or have his flag inserted where the sun don't shine. His team reward him by tying him to the goalpost following the match, ensuring he's late for the birthday party. This cue had a lot of dialogue and not much football. Brazilian Carnival Drums were chosen partly because of the ironic comparison between Sunday League and South American football, and partly because it's OK for them to keep starting and stopping (to fit in the dialogue).
